Dimitris Birbos joined Alpha Asset Management MFMC in July 2022 holding the position of the Asssistant Manager of the Equity Markets Division.
He has 19 years of professional experience in financial advisory and capital markets. He started his career as a consultant in the Financial Advisory Services (FAS) department at Deloitte (2004-2008) participating in numerous corporate valuation, M&A and dispute consulting projects. He then worked as an equity analyst at Optima Bank (former Investment Bank of Greece) (2008-2022) and later as Head of the Research Department.
He holds an MSc in Banking & Finance from the University of Piraeus, a MBA in Tourism from the Hellenic Open University and a BSc in Economics from the University of Piraeus. In addition, he is a certified Portfolio Manager and Equity Research Analyst by Bank of Greece.
