Panagiotis Antonopoulos, CEO of Alpha Asset Management M.F.M.C. and First Vice President of the Hellenic Fund and Asset Management Association, participated as Moderator at the 6th Institutional Management Conference, organized by the Hellenic Fund and Asset Management Association under the central theme “Investments in Real Assets.”

In his opening remarks, Mr. Antonopoulos highlighted that investments in Real Assets—such as infrastructure, energy, and real estate—lie at the core of the international investment agenda. He referred to the rapid growth of global interest in this asset class, linking it to inflationary pressures, fiscal uncertainty, and the broader shift of investors toward the real economy. He underlined that Real Assets have now become a key driver of sustainable growth.

As panel moderator, Mr. Antonopoulos led a substantive discussion with Theoni Alampasi, Secretary General for the Financial Sector and Private Debt Management at the Ministry of National Economy and Finance; Michel Fekkas, First Vice President of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission; Professor Haroula Apalagaki, Acting General Manager of the Hellenic Bank Association; and Konstantinos Angelopoulos, Deputy CEO of HCAP. The discussion focused on the role of institutional investors and the importance of a stable framework to further support the development of the Real Assets market in Greece.
