Nektarios Papagiannakopoulos, Head of Alternative Investments at Alpha Asset Management M.F.M.C., participates at the 16th Pension Forum

Nektarios Papagiannakopoulos, Head of Alternative Investments at Alpha Asset Management M.F.M.C., participated as a speaker at the 16th Pension Forum in Nicosia, titled “Better Decision-Making: New Perspectives for the Pension System”, sponsored by Alpha Bank Cyprus.

During his speech, he examined the prevailing international developments and the rapidly expanding Greek market in the field of alternative investments. He emphasised that global markets have already moved beyond the traditional 60/40 investment model. Furthermore, he underscored that the increasing interest demonstrated by institutional investors is closely associated with their pursuit of new income-generating opportunities and lower-volatility solutions, particularly within an environment characterised by low real interest rates.

Mr. Papagiannakopoulos noted: “The world of alternative investments has long ceased to be regarded as a specialised, peripheral category and has now become an integral component of a modern, diversified investment portfolio.
