Panagiotis Antonopoulos, Vice Chairman & CEO, at the CEO Clubs Greece Forum

Participated as a speaker at the CEO Clubs Greece Forum, titled “The Multiplier Effect: How Greek CEOs Can 10x Impact.”

The Forum focused on how Greek companies can generate meaningful and sustainable multiplier impact through strategic capital allocation, productivity enhancement, management quality and scalable business models.

During the discussion, Mr. Antonopoulos shared Alpha Asset Management’s perspective on the key attributes that define companies with genuine long-term multiplier potential. He noted that, in an environment of elevated uncertainty, investors are not simply looking for fast-growing companies, but for businesses that can remain resilient, evolve and create value over the long term.

In his remarks, he highlighted three key factors: repeatable competitive advantages, reflected in metrics such as margins, ROIC and pricing power even in challenging conditions; management quality, expressed through disciplined execution, sound governance, shareholder alignment and thoughtful capital allocation; and, most importantly, scalability without a proportional increase in costs — a core element of true multiplier effect.

As highlighted during the discussion:
“True multiplier potential is not defined by how fast a company grows, but by the quality, resilience and scalability of the value it can create over time.”

Mr. Antonopoulos also referred to the sectors of the Greek economy that are increasingly attracting institutional capital. He noted that international capital is directed towards activities linked to extroversion, productivity and scalability, including high value-added tourism, energy and the green transition, as well as infrastructure and digital services.

The discussion also underlined that the availability of capital alone is not sufficient. What matters is the right kind of capital — capital with a long-term horizon, strategic alignment and patience, which enables management teams to invest, build capabilities and create sustainable value.

Mr. Antonopoulos’ participation in the CEO Clubs Greece Forum highlighted Alpha Asset Management’s role in the broader dialogue on strategic capital allocation, investment discipline and long-term value creation for companies, investors and the Greek economy.
