Vassia Makri

Vassia Makri is the Assistant Manager in the Equities Division at Alpha Asset Management MFMC since 2018.

She has 34 years of professional experience in the area of investment management. She embarked on her career as an investment analyst at Anaplasi SA, a member of the Emporiki Bank Group (1988-1990), and as a portfolio manager at NBG Asset Management MFMC (1990-1995). She joined the Alpha Bank Group in 1995. She worked as a mutual fund and institutional portfolio manager at Alpha Finance until 2000. She then worked as a mutual fund and institutional portfolio manager at Alpha Asset Management MFMC. During her career, she has managed mutual funds of all categories – money market funds, bond funds, equity funds – both domestic and international.

She holds a degree in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is also a certified Portfolio Manager by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission and a certified Securities and Derivatives Trader by the Athens Stock Exchange.
